A Sojourn Home Upon the Royal Way

Simple Steps: A Sojourn Home Upon the Royal Way

May every weary traveler follow the Royal Way Back Home

The footsteps of life's eternal quest can be seen ever fading in the sands behind our walk; sometime blown harshly away, sometimes drifting and faded in some unknown measure of time. And, occasionally an odd step somehow survives and remains — away from the shore, and usually, as it was said by Frost, on the “path less taken.” Our journey it seems is into our own hearts. Our journey is into the hearts of others, and into the very heart of time itself. Time is hard thing to grasp because it was never meant to be held.Time seems to have a poor memory; yet remembers everything. We are not only star dust; but we are also made of time. Time spent feeling our way through the journey; loving, crying, joying, reveling in delights, and mourning sorrows. The footprints, if followed far enough, always lead back to ourselves, and ultimately to God. May every weary traveler follow the Royal Way back home. There we will discover that our footprints have been preserved forever — every single step carefully placed before us lives on forever in the perfect memory of our sacred pilgrimage.
